We use our bodies every day. We get up, we walk, we talk. We are always doing something. Even just sitting watching television or reading a book. Our minds and bodies are always being used. That’s why we can get caught when we don’t listen to them.
Often our bodies will tell us when something isn’t right, but are we really listening? This is why I thought it would be a good idea to share with you a few things to identify with your body
Ignore recurring symptoms
Our bodies have clever ways of letting us know that something is wrong. But more often than not we don’t listen to them. We just ignore it or put it somewhere else. But in many cases it leads to further complications. Some diseases, such as cancer, if not found immediately can be fatal.
This is why it is so important to pay attention to the warning signs. Of course, you can’t go to the doctor with every disorder or symptom. I understand that. But these are unusual things, and consistent. For example, unusual bleeding, bloating, or pain. Not taking breaks when you clearly need a break
If you find it hard to concentrate, short of breath, or even your mood is affected, you could be experiencing it battling fatigue. Our bodies will identify when we really need rest, but many of us ignore it and move on. Fatigue can cause problems such as stress or problems concentrating. All of that can be bad for us or others. Consider how you feel.
Not considering your mental state
Our mental health is one of the biggest things we neglect. Often when we are feeling down or in a bad mood, we can think of it as one of those things. But if you feel blue more often than happy, then you may be struggling with depression. If left undiagnosed, it can have a major impact on your life. Sometimes you need to identify when you’re feeling down, and what’s causing it.
Continuing a bad diet
A bad diet can cause many health problems if left unchecked. We can gain weight, have bad skin problems. All of which can point to mental health problems, or problems with movement. Weight gain can affect the organs in our body. Like our heart or lungs. Very important to have a healthy balanced diet.
Lack of fitness can take its toll
If you are not worthy and struggling with exercise then this may cause your health problems in future. Our body will make us aware that we are tired or out of breath. However, simple things like climbing stairs shouldn’t be a problem. If you find yourself struggling with shortness of breath or low fitness, try and work at that level to improve your overall health.
