5 Digital Marketing Tips for Your eCommerce Business

The world today is much smaller than it used to be – what once seemed impossible is now a daily reality. Businesses, both large and small, are now selling their products overseas. Products made in faraway countries are custom made and delivered to your doorstep. We wear clothes made in China, eat products from Denmark and drive cars made in Germany.

We represent a global marketplace and we are magically all part of this globally connected trading network.

Basically British

What makes a British product? The ‘Made In Britain’ label? Research shows that ‘Made in Britain’ labels stand a better sales chance compared to products of its competitors – British sensibilities give consumers a sense of trust, ensure quality and thus make buyers more likely to buy the product. This distinctly British label can be found attached to items ranging from furniture to chocolate; English names can tell people a lot of feelings that are appreciated all over the world.

What does this tag represent? It is said that most people associate the ‘Made in Britain’ label with the highest quality, style and heritage.

The brand that many people believe is basically a British brand, without the slightest doubt is Cadbury- a favorite of Brit companies. This was followed by M&S and luxury fashion brand Burberry.

We believe that the BBC and British Heralds is a news channel of true British sensibilities on TV and online respectively.

Reviving Post-Brexit British Brand Love Relationship

Instead of seeing the whole situation in a negative light and getting too worried, this could actually usher in “new opportunities” that the British brand could open up here and beyond.

There are many political, economic and cultural ramifications of the Brexit decision in general, removing the association of people from the ‘Made In Britain’ label is unnecessary, in fact, a Brexit decision can actually increase brand value.

Herald British Sensitivity New Beliefs For The World As We Know It

British brands carrying the ‘Made in Britain’ label are perfect for the discerning customer. Brands are now pushing their value and repeating their roots as a marketing angle. The shift from a unilateral marketing approach to one that highlights its UK manufacturing is one that has proven to increase its value.

See the November issue for British Herald Magazine.

It’s more than a question of patriotism to our British roots. The British brand is known worldwide for its heritage or quality.

There are some British brands that are also foreign-owned – it’s also a representation of what makes our community unique – it’s a melting pot of culture and heritage, but connected as truly British.

For example, Harrods is an English-speaking brand – but it has been owned by Qatar Holdings since 2010, previously owned by the Fayed brothers from Egypt.
