Wedding Bands Tips – Essentials for Buying the Perfect One

For people who wear glasses, choosing the right frame can be quite difficult. It’s all about personal style and what best suits your natural attributes. Fortunately, while searching glasses for womenYou’ll be pleased to know there are tons of styles to suit all faces and tastes.

While glasses are first and foremost a practical requirement, they also reflect your personal style. Like shopping for any other accessory, you want to choose something that is uniquely ‘you’. After all, your glasses are sure to be an everyday part of your life and wardrobe, so it only makes sense that you would want something really out of the ordinary.

When shopping for glasses, there are several things to consider. Everything from face shape to skin color can come into play. It is best to prepare for your purchase with at least an idea in mind. Many buyers are overwhelmed by the many frames to choose from.

Frames to Fit Your Face

Frames come in all shapes and colors. On the one hand, this is positive, because all customers will definitely find glasses to suit their individual tastes.

However, it can be daunting when faced with so many choices. Some basic knowledge can be helpful when shopping for eyeglasses, whether in store or online.

Big, expressive eyes can get away with thicker frames. However, those with smaller eyes may want to gravitate toward a smoother frame. It won’t overwhelm your face; instead they will let your natural attributes take center stage.

Color can also be a factor. Those with lighter eyes may want to look for a complementary frame color. As with eye makeup, the right frame color can really make a person’s eyes pop, especially if it complements your natural eye color.

Face Shape is Key

Although every face is different, there are generally seven common face shapes. They are as follows:

  • Oval – Characterized by wide cheekbones, with a narrower jawline.
  • Square – Angled, with clear lines around the jaw and forehead.
  • Round – A wider, softer look, without the sharp angles that characterize a square face.
  • Triangle – Features a narrow forehead that becomes wider towards the jaw.
  • Heart Shaped – The opposite of a triangular shape, i.e. a wider forehead with a narrower jawline. Can include angular or rounded features.
  • Oblong – With similar qualities to a square face, the oblong shape is slightly longer, showing a lack of definition at the cheekbones.
  • Diamond – Features high, defined cheekbones, with a narrower forehead and jawline.

Determining your face shape takes a little effort. The best place to start is in front of a mirror in an area of your home with optimal lighting. From there you can study your face to determine which category best fits its natural shape. Consult internet leads for more detailed studies, or simply ask your optometrist for input. Some frames will look better on certain types of face shapes, and it’s important to at least be aware of what you’re working on.

Glasses for Day and Night

You may want to consider buying two pairs of glasses, one for the day and one for the night. Your everyday glasses can be more casual and unique – something with a larger frame, perhaps plastic, or one of the latest trends that features bold colors and patterns.

However, glasses like these may not work for high-end events. You may want something more subtle, something that lets your face’s natural beauty shine through.

Glasses don’t have to be a very practical accessory. While comfort and fit are paramount, you also have to be satisfied with the way your glasses look. By taking care to choose the right frame, you will be satisfied with your better eyesight, as well as your fierce style.
