We’re in a great first quarter of the year. Have you started planning your adventure? You can hike the mountains of the Cordilleras, surf the waves of Siargao or shop and dine in Hong Kong. Traveling is not only good for your Instagram account, it’s also beneficial for your mental health.

Researcher and book writer Dr. Wallace J. Nichols say that vacationing, especially near water, is good for health. “Often associated with feelings of awe and wonder, water can increase our empathy and compassion, our connection with ourselves and those we are with, and for many people—from musicians like Pharrell Williams to neurologists like Oliver Sacks—it is a source of creativity and insight,” he shared.

What To See In Greece When You’re A History Buff

Wherever you plan to make new memories, consider condo accommodation near your destination or port of entry.

Here are 8 compelling reasons why renting a condo is perfect for your budget and travel plans.

1). Stay near the airport

Short term condominium rentals in Metro Manila are growing in popularity among foreigners, local tourists and balikbayan mainly due to accessibility. Most of the condominium communities are strategically located near main roads, transportation hubs, and business/commercial areas.

Before your flight, you can do some last-minute chapterubong shopping in the surroundings or relax in the condominium resort-style lifestyle facilities. No need to cram. Take some time to relax before going on a long haul trip.

2). Park and fly

Don’t know where to leave the car when you fly overseas? Well, you can always ask your little brother to take care of your beloved SUV, or secure it in the condo’s parking area. For the former, you don’t have to spend a dime, but you risk relatives using it as a daily service.

The second option will cost a little more, but you can rest assured that your car will be in the same condition as when you left it. Your rented condo unit may or may not include a parking slot. Ask your landlord or leasing officer if it’s included in your lease agreement.

3). Relax before your 20 hour flight

It is said that what matters is the journey, not the destination. But you must admit, long-distance flights are not easy. If you’re coming from a province, say Baguio City, the grueling journey starts at least six hours by bus.

Why not take a day or two trip to Metro Manila and relax a bit before your departure? Tivoli Gardens Residence offers tenants access to a swimming pool, jogging/biking trail, and fitness center. There is also an entertainment room, a children’s recreation room and a sky lounge where you can relax under the majestic city sky.

4). Condo rentals, cost-effective accommodation

Renting a condo for a week-long stopover in the capital is your best bet from a budget perspective. For a lower rate, you get the convenience of a hotel stay and more. Fully furnished condominium units include comfortable beds complete with mattresses, pillows and bedding, toilets and bathrooms, functional kitchens, dining areas and living areas. Save money by cooking your food. You can even have dinner with family and friends.

5). Explore your city on foot

If you’re not from Metro Manila, it’s understandable that you might have some unflattering impressions of life in the capital region. Traffic, pollution and urban decay are depicted in films and news reports. True, this is evident in the city but there are many places in the metro where people enjoy a high quality of life. How to experience city life at its best? Rent a resort-style condo and explore the city’s highlights on foot.

Tivoli Garden Residences is located on the border between Mandaluyong and Makati. It is 20 minutes walk to Makati CBD, 15 minutes to Rockwell and 10 minutes to Mandaluyong City Hall. In Mandaluyong, there are rows of restaurants and bars along Shaw Boulevard and shopping malls including SM Megamall and Shangri-la Plaza. A short drive will take you to the affluent city of San Juan where many fine restaurants abound.

6). Provincial destinations within your reach

Metro Manila is huge. But it’s also connected to nearby provinces, municipalities, and cities via toll roads. Are you planning an afternoon in Antipolo or a field tour in Cavite? Rent a fully furnished condo in Pasig, Mandaluyong or Pasay. This will cut your transportation costs, both in time and money. From Pasig, tourist attractions in Rizal province are only one bus or FX away.

You can also take your EDSA to Cavite, Batangas and other southern Luzon destinations. Are you heading north? You can rent a condo in Quezon City, which is near the bus terminal to the plains of Central Luzon, the Cordilleras, and Ilocandia.

7). Celebration in your condo community

Rent a condo on your next visit to Metro Manila and have your family reunion in the condo’s function room. No need to go anywhere else for your celebration. Your guests can relax in resort-style surroundings and party in style in the function room or clubhouse. You can also have a simple get-together in the picnic yard or have afternoon tea in the sky lounge. Condo vacation rentals are definitely a notch higher than your typical accommodations.

8). Let it rain

As the weather worsens in Metro Manila, the impending “carmaggedon” is just one of every resident’s worries. Floods can paralyze cities. No one can say when a sudden hurricane visits while you’re on vacation. However, if you live in a condo, you can still have fun. There are indoor lifestyle amenities, spas, salons, restaurants and all other places in or near your condo. You are guaranteed 24/7 security and power supply. Brew some coffee, turn on the stereo and enjoy a quiet, rainy afternoon.

Travel is good for your health. Sure, it costs money, but with the right planning, you can do well. You can save a lot and maximize your vacation if you stay in a condo for rent. Choose a condo near the airport, bus terminal or destination of your choice. Choose one that has resort-style amenities, including a function room for your event. Speak to a leasing officer today to find out your rental options!
