What To See In Greece When You’re A History Buff

What To See In Greece When You’re A History Buff

Hoi An is an amazing place to visit – it doesn’t matter if you are a novice or a seasoned pro at the place. It is noted for its laid back and relaxed vibe and also the strong French influence that is present in the details.

If you’re on a Vietnam exploration trip and need some time off – Hoi An is perfect for you. While this is a relaxing place to relax – don’t think for a second that there’s nothing to do here. Quite the contrary, to be honest. Look Travelzl Hoi An packages page to explore the many options available to you – but read on to find out something that can kindle your fire of wanderlust!

Stop at one of the many Banh Mi vendors

If you’ve never eaten banh mi before, I’ll forgive you if you don’t think this is a sight worth seeing. If you have, then you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. Hard and soft baguette filled with pork, salad, eggs and an amazingly delicious filling that will make for a mouth-watering treat so delicious that an ordinary sandwich may never satisfy you again.

Take a stroll and you’ll quickly find yourself passing a sandwich shop or three. Choose your treat based on how clean and busy the place looks.

Score some new outfits

One of the coolest things people do when they go to Vietnam is get new clothes – custom made clothes. Think, a jacket that fits perfectly on your body… it’s definitely worth spending on. The best part is that although certain clothes in Australia can be quite expensive, they are usually much cheaper in Hoi An. Despite the high cost, many tailors in Hoi An will give you free fitting and adjustments until the clothes fit perfectly. Bonus!

If you want to make multiple outfits, make sure you do your research and get a good price before you set a final total. Bargain hard! Make sure you’re aware of their turnaround too – just in case you leave the area before the clothes are ready!

Do a cooking class

Basically one thing you have to do to really experience Vietnam. Whether you want to know how to make the perfect bowl of Pho or if something a little different is your thing – you’re sure to find it here. Shop around to find the class that’s right for you, then put on your apron and have fun with it!

Explore the Thu Bon River

You can’t walk very far in Hoi An without crossing the banks of Thu Bon. You’ll find hundreds of markets selling everything imaginable – including jewelry, clothing, food – and the range is truly jaw-dropping.

Make sure you hold on to your bag tightly as you navigate the weave paths here. Why not get on a boat and really experience things?

Enjoy great coffee

When you need a break, there’s no better way to do it than with sweet and delicious Vietnamese coffee with lots of condensed milk. Mmm. it’s the perfect choice for me when you need a dose of caffeine.

Make sure to take your time and explore all the best that Hoi An has to offer. With plenty of sights to explore, this is just a small part of what you’ll find yourself doing when you recharge between trips to the many sights. Just relax and enjoy the relaxed life in Vietnam.
