Waiting to check out Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system so now your patience is over. Microsoft launched a new OS yesterday Building Conference. So you don’t have to wait any longer, as the developer preview version of the OS is now available for download.
You can install it on a 32-bit or 64-bit x86 machine. No activation required. The developer tools version requires a clean install, but if you have Windows Vista or 7 installed on your machine, you can keep your accounts, files, and settings with the fresh install. Windows XP users can upgrade and keep only their accounts and files.
